Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun admission process for its Management Programmes.
The Programmes includes various Degrees and Diplomas – Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) and Diploma in Management (DIM).
An IGNOU release today said all the programmes have multi-media design, using technology aided delivery systems and are offered through country-wide network of Study Centres.
The University will be admitting students for these degree/diplomas in Management from July 2006 and January 2007 through an entrance test OPENMAT-XIX to be held on February 5, 2006 all over the country.
There is no age bar for any of the programmes. Student Handbook and Prospectus for Management Programme-2006 can be obtained from the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU and from all its Regional Centres including IGNOU-Army, Air Force, Navy and Assam Rifles and CRPF Recognised Regional Centres by November 14, 2005.
Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from its website www.ignou.ac.in. and submitted before November 2005.
The University has a provision of 2,250 South Asia Foundation (SAF)-Madanjeet Singh Scholarships for Post Graduate and vocational training programmes.
Students from economically and socially disadvantaged background shall be preferred from these scholarships on the basis of their past academic records, the release added.
