HRD Minister asked NIOS to re-examine fee structure

HRD Minister Arjun Singh directed the school authorities to re-check the fee structure for girls and SC/ST candidates. Speaking at a meeting of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the Minister said that the revision is required to ensure the maximum participation of girls and SC/STs groups in the schooling process. He also asked the NIOS authorities to take necessary step to spread out to all the regions of the country.
