Finally the result of JNU student union elections came out on Saturday. The left lean, SFI-AISF alliance is once again sweeping all the four central panel seats.
All India Students` Association`s Mona Das won the presidential post for the second year in a row, while the Students` Federation of India (SFI)-All India Students` Federation (AISF) alliance regained the rest of the three central panel post. Mona Das beat her nearest rival Sona Mitra by a margin of just 52 votes. SFI`s Dhananjay Tripathi beat AISA`s Kanika Singh by 25 votes for the post of vice-president.
