New courses by The University School of Information Technology
The University School of Information Technology is offering a BTech and MTech (dual degree) in computer science and engineering for which the intake is 60. It is also offering a MTech in Computer Science and Enginee¬ring with an intake of 25 seats.
According to Jain, the university is also planning to introduce weekend programmes in MBA (financial serv¬ices) with a facility to specialise in banking and insurance for working professionals and executives. The School of Basic and Applied Sciences is also working on a innovative and research focused MTech programme in Engineering Physics. These weekend programmes will have a tri-semester system instead of the con¬ventional semester system so that students would be able to complete the courses in two years, Jain added.
