Abilene Christian University was starting in 1906. The Abilene Christian University Department of Psychology provides the Bachelor of Science in psychology. The ACU Psychology Clinic offers quality community counseling and psychological assessment to Abilene and the Big Country. Psychology is the study of conduct and mental processes. Students have the chance to study central principles of human development, learning, personality and physiological psychology. Students as well learn conceptions and skills in the application of psychology to industrial, clinical, counseling and other work settings. The Psychology Department at ACU prepares students in the fundamental principles of human development, learning, personality and physiological psychology.
