National Institute of Design (NID) and Bocconi University, Milan, has launched a first-time collaborative Professional Advancement Programme aimed at aspirÂing managers in fashion, design, retail, lifestyle and allied industries to upgrade their competencies to face global compeÂtition. The need for highly specialised human resources is being felt increasingly . by fashion, design, lifestyle, jewellery, luxuÂry sectors with the relaxation of FDI entry for foreign labels and the rapid expansion of organised retail in India. Recognising the pressing need and to facilitate upgradation of young managers through’ appropriate exposure to high-end design, fashion and retailing in Italy, as a major with the support of Altagamma, the leading luxury good manufacturers and retailers association are launching a 13 week joint certificate programme in the area of , managing design and fashion companies, successfully.
