IGNOU Centers to be linked with EDUSAT

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Director K Soundaravalli said that six centres of the University will be linked with Education Satellite (EDUSAT) to facilitate interactive education for distance learning in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu very soon.
The centres to be linked include Chennai, Madurai, Salem, Coimbatore, Port Blair and Pondicherry. The university will access an interactive academic network connecting all its existing centres and further expand its educational facilities in remote areas of the country, she added.
