NIIT setting up University

Computer Education Institute NIIT Ltd. announced that it has approved the amount of Rs. 50 million to set up a university. The board of NIIT has also approved extentending up to Rs. 250 million as a loan, but after the approval of shareholders.

NIIT is planning to setup the University somewhere in Northern India. The key focus area will the Information Technology and emerging technologies.
