A.T. Still university physical therapy

Physical therapy is the healthcare discipline focused on alleviation of movement dysfunctions as a result of physical disability, movement dysfunction, bodily malfunction, and pain from injury, disease and any other conditions. The Doctor of Physical Therapy may offer clinical services by referral or direct access, administer and manage practice settings, participate in research, and serve as consultants and educators.

ATSU’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ASHS) offers a three-year, entry-level doctoral program. Courses are designed with emphasis on both a strong academic foundation and clinical practice. Physical therapy students receive their basic and clinical science education in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Clinical education is completed in healthcare facilities throughout Arizona and selected sites outside Arizona.
