Jewellery Design and Technology Institute (JDTI), Noida introduced its students to filigree, which is made by hand using elementary tools and marks the ingenuity and skill of the traditional craftsman. Ramesh Behera, a master craftsman, was specially invited for the project from Cuttack, Orissa. Cuttack is presently the largest centre of production of filigree work in India.
