While everyone is excited about growing animation industry, lack of degree programme of international standard is missing in India so far. To address this, Maharishi group, with presence in 120 countries has launched international BSc in Animation by bringing Canadian animation education to India in association with a UGC recognized Indian University. The international BSc with Animation has been launched by Maharishi groups Picasso Animation with a intake capacity of 25 students in Delhi recently. This programme has incorporated Toronto based Centennial Colleges two famous programmes namely Art & Design Foundation and Digital Animation in 1st and 2nd year of BSc.
An important feature is the presence of full time Canadian faculty team in the campus providing education on par with western standards. Students will also go through a compulsory 3 months internship in a studio and will be placed through campus recruitment. Picasso animation college has 100% placement track record and all the studios who recruited Picasso students earlier are keen to absorb the students passing out with B.Sc Animation.
Eligibility for B.Sc is 10+2 in any stream.
