Announcing The Model Code Of Conduct For The DUSU Elections

Announcing the model code of conduct for the DUSU elections this year, the university on Friday has stated that candidates should not put up posters including stickers, hoardings or writings on the walls of the campus.

It has also put a ban on loudspeakers inside the campus or even in its vicinity.

Each candidate cannot use more than two vehicles for canvassing and the election expenses should not exceed Rs 10,000 per candidate.

No canvassing will be allowed in the university or college hostels after 10 pm and an outsider should not enter the campuses of either college or university for the electioneering purposes. Any act of violation of the laid mode of conduct will be considered as an act of indiscipline as per Ordinances X V (b) of the university, stated A K Dubey, registrar of the university.
