Womens Study and Development Centre at Delhi University is offering a two-month course in Womens Studies starting from September 25. The aim of the course is to sensitise and train students on different issues and problems related to gender and society. The highlights of the course would be: Women in Indian society, feminist theory, cultural and historical frameworks, law and political participation. Only those candidates who are BA, BSc or BCom with at least 50% marks are eligible. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of an entrance examination followed by an interview. Interested candidates may send their applications on a plain paper with their CV by August 31 to the Director, Womens Studies and Development Centre, Academic Research Centre, II Floor, Patel Marg, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007.
