We are sure that you must have heard these wonderful lyrics in the song Sapna Dekha Maine. It gives us great pleasure at Amity Humanity Foundation to share with you that the song Sapna Dekha Maine has been nominated for the Most Socially Responsible Programming by FICCI for their FICCI HALL OF FRAMES AWARD.
These touching lyrics, penned by Prasoon Joshi and sung in the soulful & ethnic voice of Shubha Mudgal had given the young girls at Amitasha a re- born desire to live. An opportunity to sing and get featured with Shubha Mudgal has brought a glowing confidence on the faces of these young stars at Amitasha (a school for the underprivileged girl child under the aegis of Amity Humanity Foundation).
The album Sapna Dekha Maine was an endeavour of Amity Humanity Foundation to strike a chord in as many people as possible about the plight of the underprivileged Girl Child in India. Shantanu Moitra had very beautifully given music to the delicate feelings of an underprivileged girl child in this musical tribute.
We are really thankful to stalwarts like Shubha Mudgal, Prasoon Joshi, Shantanu Moitra, Shabana Azmi, Amitabh Bachan and Ashutosh Gowarikar for voicing in their support for this noble cause.
Together, let us wish for the cause that has brought smiles on the faces of hundreds of Underprivileged Girls!
