Today the non-profit institutions have begun discharging a much greater role in the socio-economic transformation of India. Notably, a little known fact that NGOs are the largest employers in India stands testimony to this.
Mysore-based Vivekananda Institute of Leadership Development (VILD), established by Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) has evolved from over two decades of field work and interaction with several experts. The Youth Movement works amidst the tribal and rural folk of nearly 12 districts of Karnataka.
