To express the deepest gratitude towards various industry guides who helped the Management students at Amity during their summer internship program, Amity Business School (ABS) organized its Corporate Meet on July 24, 2004 at the ABS Campus, Sector 44, Noida. A special highlight of the Meet was an evening of enchanting ghazals with Padmabhushan Shri Jagjit Singh.
Shri Jagjit Singh enthralled the audience with his august presence. His ghazal Hosh Walon Ko khabar kya set the mood for a perfect evening. He crooned out several of his famous ghazals in the jam packed auditorium with more than 700 people. Some of the ghazals that he sang were: Tum Itna Jo Muskara Rahe Ho, Hoton Se Choo Lo Tum, Kiska Chehra Ab Main Dekhoon, Kal Chaudhvi Ki Raat Thi. His last ghazal at the evening, Lara Lappa Lara Lappa Lai Lapda raised the momentum of the entire audience as they clapped and cheered along with him.
