Vandemataram fete draws many students

Hundreds of school and college students from different parts of the city and rural areas thronged the Subrahmanyam Maidan and rendered Vandemataram with fervour at the Vandemataram centenary celebrations’ valedictory function here on Tuesday.

The power-point presentation by the centenary celebrations committee headed by Karri Ramareddy, Voleti Satyanarayana and others inspired the youth. The Minister for Roads & Buildings, Jakkampudi Ramamohana Rao, MLA Rowtu Suryaprakasha Rao, and AICC member Jakkampudi Vijayalakshmi addressed the gathering comprising students and prominent citizens at the Anam Kala Kendram.
