Information
Mushrooming of BEd colleges in north India has increased the demand for UGC NET qualified MEd teachers. But this has also led to beginning of the unethical practices. At the time of inspection, all colleges were fulfilling NCTE norms.
If surprise inspection of these colleges is done now, we will find a large number of BEd colleges not having the required number of UGC NET qualified teachers.
This was stated by renowned UGC NET expert Prof KC Kataria while addressing the students in the fifth UGC NET awareness camp held at Dev Samaj College, Sector 36, Chandigarh, on Saturday. He said UGC NET qualified faculty is not available in the region.
