Information
DPS Gurgaon has turned four. Starting with 1,400 students & 50 teachers on October 18, 2001, the school now has over 3,500 students .

The foundations of DPS Gurgaon was laid by C L Jaipuria and the school was set up by Ravi & Dhara Jaipuria in collaboration with the DPS Society under the chairmanship of Narender Kumar.

While every DPS school has its own distinct character, in case of DPS Gurgaon, it has always been its outstanding academics, a fact borne out by the very first Class X board results, which has an amazing 100% of the students passing out, that too in the First Division.

The school believes that each student is different with different needs and aspirations. So, it caters for this difference with different training methodology. The faculty believes that they have a special mission to reach out to everyone, even to those with special needs. It believes in Inclusion of children with special needs within the regular framework of academics, one of the very few among the pioneers to have taken this bold initiative.

Ushering in a new era of knowledge with a belief that every child has the right to education, the school strives runs an afternoon school for underprivileged children - The Shiksha Kendra . The students are given free books, uniforms, meals & transportation also. The women of the neighbouring villages learn tailoring at the vocational centre run by the School.
