LIC defeated Oriental Insurance Co. by 50 runs to clinch the trophy for the 3rd Amity Insurance Cricket Cup. LIC were 225 in 30 overs while Oriental Insurance finished at 175. The 3rd Amity Insurance Cricket Cup organized by Amity School of Insurance and Actuarial Sciences (ASIAS) has reached the final lap with the concluding match between Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and Oriental Insurance Co. at the Amity Campus, Sector 44, Noida. Twelve major players of the Insurance sector participated in this tournament. The tournament was held on league basis unlike last year which was on Knock-out basis.
Shri Yashpal Sharma, Former Indian Cricketer (member of the winning team- World Cup 1983) & Ex- National Test Selector was the chief guest for the valedictory ceremony.
