Information
PES Institute of Management is organising a one day HR Seminar on the theme Global HR Practices on April 29, 2006 at the Capitol, Raj Bhawan Road, Bangalore. The seminar is being conducted as part of their Industry Interaction Initiative, a drive to provide extensive interface for MBA students with industry professionals. It is an excellent opportunity for management students of Bangalore to interact with top HR professionals.
The theme Global HR Practices addresses a very current issue in Human Resources Management. This issue has gained prominence in the post liberalisation scenario with multi national companies forcing employees across borders; it really doesnt matter whether the employee is based in Singapore, UK or India.
This changed scenario of global recruitment, selection and outsourcing calls for a thorough understanding of various factors influencing global HR practices, whether it is - global selection process, global talent management, global compensation and benefits or global performance appraisal. This seminar will focus on all of the above factors.
Experts across industries like IT, BT, Consumer Electronics will discuss and deliberate on the issue.
