Sandz Management Academy, Bangalore, has launched a unique Post-Graduate Diploma in Global Business Administration (PGDGBA) in academic partnership with the Singapore Human Resources Institute. The first year foundation programme is held in India and the specialisation in the second year is held in Singapore. The participants also undertake a business project in an Indian and a Singaporean company.
Founded in 1965, Singapore Human Resources Institute is the only professional HR authority in Singapore, and its views are respected by the governmental and private organisations. The certification is by Singapore Human Resources Institute. The programmes are designed to accommodate students with different educational qualifications and career aspirations.
Through this tie-up, Sandz Management Academy plans to bring many more specialised programmes, corporate training, executive search, business connect services etc. Sandz also plans to conduct an India-Singapore Business Expo by 2007 in partnership with Singapore Human Resources Institute, according to Usman Ashraf Ali, Chief Executive Officer of the Academy. The total course fee is Rs.2.50 lakhs for two years, in India and Singapore.
The PGDGBA programme focuses on global business practice. Spoken Chinese language is taught as a part of the curriculum. The focus is on personality development, ethics, target orientation, team management and communication skills. This is a full time residential programme. Hostel facilities are arranged by the institute in Bangalore and Singapore. The PG Diplomas are awarded by Singapore Human Resources Institute on completion of the programme at Singapore successfully.
