The Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar-608 002 has invited applications for admission to its one-year M.Phil programme on distance education mode in the following subjects: Arts Stream (English, Economics, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Police Administration, Population Studies, Sociology, Philosophy, Business Administration, Commerce, Library & Information Science); Science stream (Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Geology, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Marine Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Microbiology); Indian languages (Tamil, Linguistics); Education stream (Education, Physical Education, Psychology.)
Entry qualification is Masters degree with 55 per cent marks in science subjects and 50 per cent marks in Arts, Indian languages education. For application form, send DD for Rs. 290 drawn in favour of Annamalai University. The entrance test will be conducted on October 8.
