The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) will organise its annual IT Management Seminar, AIMS 2006, on its campus in Kozhikode on August 12 and 13.
The speakers at AIMS 2006 include Ramkumar Ramamoorthy, director, corporate marketing, Cognizant Technology Solutions; Venki Sundaresan, director, IT Group, Cypress Semiconductor; Mahadevan Narayanmony, senior manager, Corporate Advisory Services; Grant Thornton, Bangalore; Harishankar, chief information officer, Hindustan Lever Ltd.; Manish Gupta, chief technical officer, India Systems and Technology Lab, IBM; Somick Goswami, Head PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax and Administrative Services, South India; and Ashok Yerneni, head, Engineering, Reach Technologies.
The seminar organised by AbaKus, the IT and Systems interest group at IIM-K, will revolve around the theme `IT India: From Cost Advantage to Strategic Partnership.
AIMS 2006 features two case-study competitions, `Cognizant Sys-O-Mania and `HCL Challenge. The preliminary rounds have been conducted, with over 200 teams participating from across the IIMs and other top B-Schools. The finalists will present their analysis to a panel of judges from industry and academia. The winners will receive prizes worth over Rs. 55,000.
