Infosys is planning to invest Rs 1,200 crore in an education centre in Mysore for training and education activities for its employees. Spread over 335 acres, Infosys’ Mysore centre has a software development centre, global education centre (GEC) and Infosys Leadership Institute. The expansion “of Infosys at Mysore will see a built-up space of six million sq ft with a capacity to train 35,000-40,000 people every year. Over the next one year, Infosys plans to set up a new 9,000-seat training facility, which will be able to train 13,500 individuals in a single sitting.
