IIM-A to hold classes for retired defence officers
THE Indian Institute of Management-Ahmed-abad (IIM-A) will conduct a Certificate Course in Business Administration for the officers of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The six-month full time residential programme will be launched in October for the officers who have just retired or who are on the verge of retirement.
The programme is designed to provide management education to the officers whether in the short commission or the regular commission. The objective is to help such officers in their psychoanalysis in civil life. The programme has been designed by the institute at the pursuance of the Directorate General of Resettlement, Ministry of Defence.
