IBM to re-invent education in India
The new facility will be situated in DLF Park in Guindy, a suburb of Chennai. The facility will enable IBM to scale its existing Application Services and Global Services Delivery centre in India to meet growing client demand. The new facility will be operational in early 2007 and will have the capacity to house 3,000 employees.
Shanker Annaswamy, MD, IBM India, and Stanley Litow, president, IBM Foundation, earlier met the union minister for communications and information technology, Dayanidhi Maran, who welcoming the expansion of IBM in Tamil Nadu, said, The information technology industry is fueling future growth in Tamil Nadu.
