International award for open university
The Netaji Subhas Open University here has been presented a prestigious international award in Open and Distance Education by the Commonwealth of Learning (CoL) at Vancouver in Canada.
The Commonwealth of Learning Excellence in Distance Education Award (EDEA) was given to the varsity for institutional achievement, sources said.
CoL is an inter-governmental international apex organisation for open and distance learning in 53 Commonwealth countries.
