Westdale student earns inaugural scholarship

Erin In, a Grade 12 student at Westdale Secondary School, has won the inaugural Duane Soares OUF Scholarship.

Erin was selected by a draw after she submitted an application at one of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontarios CA career presentations at Ontario Universities Fair. The fair allows students to meet representatives from all 20 Ontario universities plus prominent professional organizations such as the Institute.

The $2,000 Duane Soares OUF Scholarship will go towards Erins tuition for the fall of 2007, as long as she applies to and is accepted by an Ontario university as a full-time undergraduate student.
