Bizman lauds body over N2.5m scholarship fund launch
A Port Harcourt based businessman, Mr Ita Uko has lauded the executive and members of Ikot Eboro Ikono Development Association, Uyo branch for launching a N2.5 scholarship fund for the education of youths of the area.
Speaking in Uyo over the weekend as a special guest of honour at the scholarship fund laundi, Uko advised youths of the area to embrace education so as to benefit from the scholarship fund.
Uko, who is the managing director of CITACON Nigeria Limited, an oil servicing company to Shell Petroleum Development Company, regretted that the community, despite being located within Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, had not made much progress due to lack of education among the majority of its people.
