Carleton student wins Rhodes Scholarship

Carleton student wins Rhodes Scholarship

Carleton Universitys Michael Urban is following in the academic footsteps of politicians like former president Bill Clinton and former Canadian prime minister John Turner.

Mr. Urban, a 23-year-old masters student at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, has won a prestigious Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University.

He is the third known Carleton student to win the award and he will head overseas in the fall of 2007 for an academic stint of up to three years.
