Scholarship drive launched to honor slain soldier

A retired Army colonel saw soldiers suffering when she was the head nurse at a hospital in Saigon during the Vietnam War.

It breaks my heart when we lose them, said the Sunbury resident, who wishes to remain anonymous.

News that Army Pfc. Justin W. Dreese, a 2004 Selinsgrove Area High School graduate, was killed in Iraq on Sept. 2 touched her. The retired nurses desire to do something is helping create a scholarship in his name at his high school.
