Fellowships for Girls
The Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme aims to help girls from the lower socio-economic backgrounds, who are academically inclined, by giving them monetary and mentoring support to get education to attain economic inde¬pendence. Candidates are chosen from class XI and first year, vocational courses and disciplines such as nursing, medicine, engineering and chartered accountancy. Udayan also encourages girls with disabilities. The last date for receiving application forms is December 7,2006.
