Student Receives Neuroscience Scholarship Award
Greg Digby, a Medical College of Georgia graduate student, has received the second annual Darrell W. Brann Scholarship Award in Neuroscience.
The $1,000 scholarship, administered by the School of Graduate Studies and Institute of Neuroscience, was established and endowed for the next nine years by Dr. Brann, neuroscientist and associate director of the Institute of Neuroscience. The award was created to support the neurosciences Ph. D. program that began last year.
The Institute of Neuroscience Steering Committee selects the award recipient based on criteria including outstanding academic performance and excellence in neuroscience research.
