Government Wants Information Technologies In Health, Education

Angolan Government is engaged in using information technologies in the sectors of health and education, in view of their contribute to efficient and quality services and development of knowledge.

This was said Wednesday in Luanda by Angolan prime minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, at the inauguration of the first Forum on Information Technologies, going until Friday this week at Talatona Convention Centre.

Fernando da Piedade said this is part of a Government`s strategic plan for the 2000/2010 period, as one of the key measures toward the training and upgrading of human resources, with a view to the development of national capacity in research and innovation.
