Mlabs wants to raise stake in Indias Third Gen
MLABS Systems Bhd plans to increase its equity in Third Gen Technologies Ltd of India, based on the projected growth for its home-grown Multimedia Conferencing System (MCS) on the sub-continent.
Mlabs chairman Associate Professor Dr Sureswaran Ramadass said the Penang-based company, which holds 10 per cent share in the Indian firm, plans to up its stake to 20 per cent by the end of this year.
We will look at further agreements on increasing our shareholding by up to 50 per cent if a direction to list the company on the Mumbai Stock Exchange by 2010 becomes clear, he told reporters in Penang yesterday.
