In an attempt to rejuvenate the cultural heritage of our country, SPICMACAY organized a programme of Indian Classical Music for the first time at Amity International School, Sector 43, Gurgaon on February 23, 2005.
Dr. Prabha Atrre, an eminent personality in the field of music; mesmerized one and all by her pure classical and semi- calssical presentations. She enlightened the students by talking about the difference between raga and taal. She also explained the relevance of Khyaal, Thumri, Daadra & Sargam. In complete synchronization with her voice were Mr. Prasum Chatterjee on Tabla and Mr. Avinash Sharma on harmonium.
