Football friends share in scholarship success
THEY ARE friends who all play football, attended the same secondary school and now they are all national scholarship winners.
Dalia Jordan Brown, Linnel Pierre, Kelly Thomson and Ysharda Clement, graduates of St Josephs Convent, Port-of-Spain, claim teamwork — studying together and playing together — helped them achieve academic success.
However, as they move into tertiary education, the four friends are taking different paths. Brown is taking a year off to get work experience before she pursues medicine at the University of The West Indies (UWI).
