IIM alumni get together for social cause
It was the next big thing India was looking forward to from the IIM alumni. After making a strong presence in the corporate world, the conglomeration of top management talent produced in India, have come together under the Pan IIM Alumni Association (PIAA) umbrella to work for social and economic cause of the country.
That apart, the association will also look inwards and work towards pushing Brand IIM globally. Our focus will be to motivate the government to call for assistance from IIMs in areas as diverse as education, healthcare, public policy, social needs and corporate social responsibility and in the process promote IIM as a global brand, says Nripjit (Noni) Singh Chawla, ex-CEO Max Healthcare.
