Eligibility: Graduates from recognised universities. Final year students can aiso apply.
Selection Process: All applicants will be called for introduction of the institute and a Q & A session for clarifications. This will be followed by a group process. The short-listed will go fora written test. They will then receive offer letters, seeking their commitment to undergo all SCMLD processes following its ethos and value system. The merit list for admission is drawn of those who sign the offer letters.
Fees acceptance & confirmation of admission : Finally merit listed candidates will be given 30 days from 1 st March 2007 to visit the SCMLD campus at Pune personally, to speak to the present and passing out students, evaluate facilities, seek clarifications and if satisfied, to pay the fee and confirm their admissions. Fees by cash, postorproxyare not accepted.
Hostel facility : Fully furnished hostel accommodation, separate forgirls and boys, available. Mess on campus is purely vegetarian.
Transparency: Student committees are empowered to audit the accounts, performance and processes of the institute including examination records, for continual improvement. Students are active partners in institution building at SCMLD.
Test Centres: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune and Raipur. Separate dates for each centre from 8th January 2007 to 11th February 2007. SCMLD at its discretion may cancel any centre if required.

Coaching for special certification programmes - Certified Financial Planner of Financial Planning Standards Board, India, APIC Certification - CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management! and CIRM (Certified in Integrated Resource Management) - NCFM, Six Sigma, Career Development Skills, System Thinking & Business Dynamics as taught at MIT, USA, etc. with no additional fees. But registration and examination fees to the examining bodies must be borne by the students. Coaching is given free at SCMLD.
How to apply: Apply indicating choice of test centre and enclosing four latest passport size colour photographs, four 10cms x 5 cms self addressed (with PIN) stickers and a non-refundable a/c payee D.D. for Rs.1,1007- drawn in favour of Director, SCMLD payable at Pune. Write your name, address with PIN, residential telephone / mobile Nos., email-id and test centre on the reverse of the DD, And the DD No. and name on the reverse of the photographs.
Important Dates: • Last date for receiving requests for application form & prospectus: 31 Dec, 06 • Last date for receipt of completed application forms, at SCMLD : 5 Jan, 07

At least one parent must accompany the student on 5th and parents are required to be at the institute on 6th & 7th for understanding the institutional processes.
