Education officials undergoing a six-month training at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) recently visted the citys Kathashala.The visiting officials came from Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, and Daman and Diu. The visit was aimed at showcasing the innovative approaches in educa¬tion being pursued in the school, which is situat¬ed in the Govindpuri slums and is run by the non-profit organisation, Katha. About 23 partici¬pants from 14 states are pursuing NIEPAs 27th Diploma in Educational Planning and Administration (DEPA) and include the likes of deputy directors of schools, district education officers, principals, among others.
