IIM-A to get accreditation from European body
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has decided to get accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), a reputed European agency.
The institute has decided to apply for the accreditation following the visit of director of EMFD Julio Urgel today, IIM-A director Bakul Dholakia said.
Dholakia said the accreditation will help IIM-A to enhance its global position, it would provide greater market access and it would help the institute to form an alliance with foreign institutes.
