IIM-Ahmedabad to apply for global accreditation
The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) could soon join the list of elite business schools in the Equis network. Equis is an international system of quality assessment and accreditation of management and business administration institutions.
IIM-A will apply for the international accreditation, a move that will help it to further its global ambitions.
We aspire to be one of the leading global business schools and for this it is important that we open ourselves to external evaluation so that we can benchmark ourselves against the best in the world, Bakul Dholakia, IIM-A director told reporters.
