Cambridge College has India plans
With the rise in presence of foreign institutions in the country, Cambridge College, Massachusetts-USA is planning to make its foray in India to establish educational centres. It is particularly aiming at Delhi and Mumbai to set up its centres by 2007.
We want to establish management, education and psychology centres at the masters level in association with the Indian universities, said Nishikant Sonwalkar, vice-president and Founder-Dean of Cambridge College, USA.
He was in India to discuss the issue with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Sonwalkar was also the former principal education architect of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. We are in talks with AIU and they have agreed in principle to work with us. They may also discuss our proposal with the UGC and AICTE on our behalf, added Sonwalkar.
