Monitoring of foreign varsities must: Academic
The University Grant Commission (UGC) plans to assist the Government to monitor the operations of foreign universities as there is no such mechanism for this in the country, A K Dogra, Joint Secretary, UGC, has said.
Dogra, who was here with other expert committee members to inspect DKM College for Women and Auxilium College for Women for according autonomy status, told this websites newspaper that the UGC would offer ideas to the Government in working out a monitoring system. As it was a complex issue, it also needed inputs from other educational bodies like the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and the All India Council for Technical Education he added.
