The present Physiotherapy practice in India needs extensive & rigorous moulding in terms of enhancing Physiotherapist knowledge base, clinical skills, evidenced based practice & research activities. The Amity Institute of Medical Science & Research (AIMSR) has established the Amity International Physiotherapist Forum.
Under the Amity International Physiotherapist Forum activities, the first Continued Physiotherapy Education program was held on the topic Muscular Injuries Etiopathology -different Types of Injury and Physiotherapy Intervention on March 10, 2005. Dr. Pooja Chugh, Lecturer- Amity Physiotherapy College was the chief speaker on the topic.
