Uganda: Open Distance Learning Policy in Offing
STAKEHOLDERS in the education sector trying to formulate the Open Distance Learning (ODL) policy to focus on quality assurance, costing and financing of the education system.
The state minister for higher education, Gabriel Opio, said once the policy is in place, it would enable the country to explore opportunities of achieving the national educational goals.
While opening a three-day consultative forum on ODL at Hotel Africana, Opio said, We have a challenge of increasing access to education in all sectors and levels.
