Claire Kelly receives MBNA NUI Maynooth scholarship
St. Brigids ladies Gaelic football star, Claire Kelly, has won an MBNA/ NUI Maynooth GAA Scholarship at a special awards ceremony held on the NUI Maynooth campus.
Claire has played at all levels for her club and county. She won an AllIreland intermediate medal with her club in 2004. She is currently a member of the LGF Underdogs team. She was Club Player of the Year at NUI Maynooth in 2005. Scholarships were awarded to 15 NUI Maynooth students at the annual MBNA/NUI Maynooth GAA Scholarship Scheme ceremony, which was held on campus on December 6th. MC and guest speaker for the evening was RTE sports commentator, Micheál ÓMuircheartaigh. MBNA sponsored the scholarships and were represented on the night by Justin McCord, Head of Business Development, MBNA Ireland.
