La Conner student awarded business scholarship
Kristen Foss, the daughter of Allan Foss and Patricia Weber of La Conner, received a $1,500 Seattle Business Forum Scholarship from Western Washington University for the 2006-2007 academic year.
Foss graduated from La Conner High School with a 3.96 cumulative GPA, while active in sports and other school activities. She plans to major in business or marketing.
The scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen and transfers with outstanding academic achievement.
