New courses in retail management
As the boom in retail sector is spreading to smaller cities and towns thereby increasing the employment generation potential, Madurai Kamaraj University is soon coming up with new courses in retail management to be offered through its Directorate of Distance Education.
The new courses include Postgraduate Diploma in Retail Management, Master of Business Administration in Retail Management and Bachelor of Business Administration in the same specialisation.
Retail sector appears promising and the scope of employment is increasing. We are planning to launch the courses to produce skilled manpower to meet the demand, a senior official in the MKU distance education wing said on Tuesday.
